The NSPCC's purpose is to bring about an end to cruelty to children. With over 150 services, including ChildLine, the NSPCC Helpline, online advice service There4Me.com and direct work with abused children and those at risk of abuse, the NSPCC is taking action to put an end to cruelty child-by-child, day-by-day. The NSPCC is creating a society where everybody is doing all they can to prevent abuse from happening and helping children at risk. By working together cruelty to children will stop. To do this the NSPCC relies on almost 90 per cent of its income from donors and supporters across the country.

Thank you for your support.

So who won the trophies this year......?

Every team who took part did a fantastic job of fundraising on behalf of the NSPCC. The event raised £435,000 - a simply staggering amount which is making a real difference to children and young people's lives right now.

Lloyds TSB reclaimed their title as overall Corporate Fundraisers, having raised over £140,000 for children. Hewlett Packard reached an absolutely amazing £53,000 between just two teams and won the title of Individual Fundraisers. We want to say thank you to all of the individuals and teams who helped to raise such a huge amount of money this year. Your dedication and commitment has been overwhelming.

2009 was the ninth year that Microsoft sponsored the UK Challenge in aid of the NSPCC. Thanks to their commitment and the efforts of all the organisations taking part, more than £3.7 million has now been raised since 2000. This has made a huge difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people across the UK. Thank you.
